| All thirteen categories are essential to the application.
1. ORIGINAL: This character must sprout from your mind with the newness of morning dew.
Unpolluted by the ideas of existing creations -- a history unique to itself. Officers of the forum
will carry an unbendable strictness toward this requirement as they consider their stamp of approval.
2. DEMO: Thrill others with a small taste of your writing skills. This will give members an idea
of what to expect from you, and stands as a banner for those who would seek to collaborate.
The length of this passage is in the hands of the writer, but at minimum -- one paragraph.
Often times the demo will be expressed as the first movements of a character in the world
of Erdea.
3. SKILL CHART
CUNNING: Creativity, and or habit of visualising the world contrary to reality. An individuals quickness of understanding, and application of knowledge. Amidst bloodshed there is no time for reverie, and in aiding the injured - a single moment to delay.
PRESENCE: As a spirit can be felt nearby, one's presence will communicate just how easily
The framework of the block spread:
1-2: Two traits can occupy this amount.
These four blocks may be combined,
or freely added to green attributes.
3-4: Three traits may occupy this amount
5-6: Three traits may occupy this amount
7-8: Two traits may be filled to this extent
9-10: Reserved for extrinsic influence
i.e trigger releases, supplemental
equipment/substances, etc
Finally, we have the influence of Supplements. These are defined as drugs, equipment, and or circumstantial matters that have a potential to reshape an individual's skill set. Anything extrinsic to one's natural abilities will fall into this category. Along the chart, a Supplement is observed as a purple block. Uniquely, they yank the squares from existing attributes to reform and boost others. A single supplement is free to borrow two blocks maximum. This ensures the experiences in Erdea remain realistic, and that no man is made unstoppable.
So as we build on the earlier skill chart - which seems to be tailored to a swordsman - let's consider the influence of a drug he could consume in the heat of battle. Perhaps the soldier pill improves his Might at the expense of Precision. We make the proper adjustments... Now our warrior has strength equal to his quickness, and dexterity traits. No doubt a formidable foe, he remains mortal with the digression of focus and precision on the field. Although his opponent will struggle to defend the onslaught, they now have a weakness to pursue onto victory.
Let us review:
1. A supplement is an outside influence able to improve traits at the expense of others
2. A single supplement can add two blocks max
3. They should be used with care, having potential to expose weaknesses
4. ACTIVITY LEVEL: It runs hand-and-hand with the demo, expressing to members
how speedily one will respond to writings, or how often they frequent the forum.
5. RELATIONS: Two simple list -- one for allies, the other for rivals. It should always be up-to-date.
6. VISUAL or DESCRIPTION: What distinguishes their appearance from others...
7. HISTORY
8. AGE
9. TRIBE ORIGIN: Where is it they hail from?
10. PERSONALITY: The essential character of this person, written briefly.
11. POSITION: What is it your character does? Perhaps they preside over civilisations, travel the seas…
when darkness falls, spill blood? What purpose have they taken as their own?
12. LANGUAGE: It plays an important role in this story. Often times determined by one's Tribe Origin, it
can be developed with time. Language sprouts new opportunities for connection and understanding.

3. SKILL CHART
ENERGY: Man's power or habit of enduring. The capacity to withstand prolonged strain. It is the complete energy at one's disposal at any moment, and the span of time before fatigue is welcomed in.
QUICKNESS: The rapidity of movement. One's rate of progress or motion over a distance in time. Who's sword will drink first the blood between two warriors?
MIGHT: Ability to exert great force or physical dominance over one's surroundings…Will the stone crumble at curled fist, or shatter every bone? This is one's might.
RESISTANCE: Tenacity, and power to refuse compliance. A being's pain threshold. It is the overall quality of an individual's physical and external defences. That thing that stands between you, and the grave itself…
CUNNING: Creativity, and or habit of visualising the world contrary to reality. An individuals quickness of understanding, and application of knowledge. Amidst bloodshed there is no time for reverie, and in aiding the injured - a single moment to delay.
PRESENCE: As a spirit can be felt nearby, one's presence will communicate just how easily
someone may be identified at any point in time. It is the defining trait among assassins, who
carve open the bellies of kingship in plain sight, then drift away as a summer breeze.
FLEXIBILITY: Ability to bend without breaking. Suppleness of muscle and joint to shape
physical stature. Landing gracefully from rooftop-to-rooftop, priceless jewels in hand, and
soldiers stumbling on your heels.
HANDINESS: Clever with the wrists, palm, and fingers. The swordsman dancing together
with lifelong companion - a gleaming blade that entrances every witness to it's bloodbath...
It is the farmer's hand among the dirt, sowing seed and giving life to his village.
The blacksmith on the stone, hammer sounding into the night.

PRECISION: Accurately expressed. Marked by or adapted to exactness. Eyes in the mist,
arrow meeting its mark, or bobbing an assault not a moment too soon.

INFLUENCE: Breadth of control. It is the range one's power can be felt. Alike the archer's
sight, or a blade's sweep. Where does danger draw it's line…
TRIGGER: Potential for an emotional charge, and the intensity of an individuals
adrenaline rush. What is the range of their mood, and how dominant
is this grip over their actions.

With each block expressing itself in a unique hue, we can sharply examine the system in place to maintain balance and realism on every soil. Ten squares are supplied to any one skill trait (i.e handiness), and every two of these will represent the mastery one is able to demonstrate within that chosen attribute. The colours sweep from blue to red, growing warmer as the fuel of sweat and experience are fed it's flame. No exceptions considered, every character must yield to this system.
1-2: Two traits can occupy this amount.
These four blocks may be combined,
or freely added to green attributes.
3-4: Three traits may occupy this amount
5-6: Three traits may occupy this amount
7-8: Two traits may be filled to this extent

equipment/substances, etc
The four blue will come in handy as you put the final touches on your chart. One might join them together for another 3-4 trait, or attach them to green blocks in order to gain a 5-6 level trait. Be wise whatever choice you make - your decisions here may very well decide the lifespan of your creation.

Royalty
In the service or under the patronage of a king or queen.
They are majestic personalities, having the wellness of human life
resting on the ends of their lips. Words of conflict, peace, and revolution.
Atop their moral uprightness the people build their livelihood. They cradle
existence in the palm of their hands.

Seafarers
Quite possibly the most prized of any position held within a tribe. Minds honed to arrange and navigate seagoing vessels from one land to another are owed a weighty respect. Their presence is paramount in the colonising process. Passion for uncertainty and adventure tread them to worlds unknown, they bring the fruits of voyage back to a waiting homeland. An existence of no ties and treasures of every make, some are swallowed into the depths of greed - sea thieves taking what their eyes hunger for - a forceful breed of man!

Soldier
At the command of their leader, they march to uncertain death. Numbers untold trample the leaves and mud, the waters and the rock. A mere glimpse of those crazed to destroy their kin, tired eyes and aching limbs are devoured by a windswept blaze. They spend themselves in battle and trek the distance to open arms - red painting their tools, chiming armour, and every man's expression. The life of their adversaries are washed away in the wet of the swamp. A thousand eyes victorious, but forever distant.
