Erdea is the name adorned to this rock -- it is the blue planet we call our setting. A time period vastly different from our own that appears to be conscious in the very first centuries of human life. Intelligence has come far enough to garner some knowledge of philosophy, agriculture, warfare -- even to nurture languages, music, and other cultural universals. But what sets this plot apart from competition is how the heart of EoE's story freely surrenders itself to the writers. They are given reign over the course, and through words, single-handedly create the environment for every generation to follow. Consider the possibilities... Edge of Existence is a community where imagination thrives without limit! We anticipate the claiming of land, conquerers, budding families, bonds, war and conspiracy -- the fickleness of natural disasters, colonising, and those wild emotions upon encountering a new race. Creations will perish and new things arise from their ashes, nonetheless, the unique mark on history can never be erased.
It isn't often a site will allow you to affect the main plot in a considerable way. Member's will find this style of roleplay exceedingly more rewarding than any of it's kind. They are able to look on years passed and marvel at countries developed from mere humble beginnings, the generations grown from two companions, and countless stories blossomed... a "tangible" history to remember.
